In a few short weeks she has identified issues which I have had for years and has helped me to correct them. She is tailoring each weeks exercises to my personal needs and helps me to reach my goals. Through these she has improved my mobility and physical fitness immensely. She is very knowledgeable about the human anatomy and helps me to understand how my body works, thereby also helping me to focus on corrective actions. She is kind and patient and allows me to progress at my own pace, but she also gently persuades me to push myself just that little bit. She clinically scans body movement and identified the critical movements that I was obliviously doing wrong. I was a PT some 6 years ago and I know a ‘bog standard’ PT when I see one: Rachel isn’t one.

Experience, maturity, focus and education on the body, mind, biology that goes beyond what a bog standard PT knows.

I wanted boxing expertise and Rachael has this in abundance. Technique, style, training methods are all high quality. When I am having off days she can adapt immediately to either remedy whats occurring or work with what we have on that day.

Kristina (October 2020) - Personal training never really appealed to me until I met Rachael.

I have arthritis in my knees from lots of distance running in my younger days, I’m now in my late 40’s. The orthopedic surgeon, who diagnosed the arthritis recommended personal training to build strength in order to keep my mobility in the future. Rachael was a perfect fit for me, having herself had her share of injuries. My first goal was to be able to run 5 k without pain, using a very gradual build in distance and lots of strength building in my sessions. I can now do the distance and am planning to build this further over the winter. I have started practicing yoga in the last couple of years and I love the way Rachael now builds in some yoga moves in our sessions. Her understanding of how all the different aspects of yoga can help in strength building, injury rehabilitation and prevention is fantastic. It also adds variety to our sessions and there's always something new to build towards. Headstands next!

Andy (October 2020) - I've been training with Rachael since early 2019.

Rachael initially assessed my health and fitness, and discussed my aim to maintain a fit and active healthy lifestyle, “best I can be” (so to speak) now I’m 50. My current training program is mainly built around boxing, with fight skills (pad work) and a mix of aerobic and anaerobic cross-fit combined with strength and conditioning. Rachel has taught me how to warm-up and cool down and stretch properly, and I can truly say that those muscle knots are long gone and my major joints are much more supple and less prone to injury. We also tweaked nutrition and in a matter of a few weeks I had a lot more energy and recovered quicker, this was a game-changer.

Don't get me wrong, training takes commitment, you need to be realistic about this, but Rachel's knowledge and guidance has been a real "shot in the arm" and her bespoke programs are varied and fun and you will yield the benefits. I especially enjoy the 1 hour a week boxing on the pads which keeps me 'on my toes', she knows what she's talking about with boxing and can handle hard hits people. I regard Rachel as an expert fitness coach and couldn't recommend her highly enough as a PT.
